Meet the Owner
Ronnie Killen's culinary journey began at the age of eight, and he never looked back. By the time he was 23, he owned his first restaurant, Killen’s Kountry BBQ, and later opened Killen’s Sports Café. It was during his part-time work at the fine dining restaurant, the Brownstone in Houston, that his passion for a culinary career blossomed.
In 1997, Killen enrolled at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in London. In 2003, the native Texan returned home to become the executive chef at Brenner’s Steakhouse. Under his leadership, the steakhouse earned recognition as the "Best Steakhouse" by the Houston Press and Houston Business Journal.
